I chose this tree because of its small footprint and the way it fits between the ceiling and the floor. Unfortunately, right after unpacking it was clear that the nuts in the posts had no chance to hold the included 8x350 threaded rod and indeed after a few days the rod acting as a lever on the post broke the plastic plug with the nut out of the post and the whole tree went down. I replaced the poor M8 threaded rod with a 3D printed M36 bolt with the appropriate counter-nut, which compared to the original nut with a depth of about 6 mm has a thread 170 mm deep and is furthermore 30 mm recessed into the column itself. This bolt has been performing its function perfectly for half a year, unfortunately all other connections from the manufacturer remain weak and the tree must have at least one side leaning against the wall, otherwise the force required to anchor the tree between the ceiling and the floor tends to tip the tree sideways, which is again caused by desperately undersized threads. Overall I find the tree more suitable for a smaller cat, my cat is 4 kg and the height of the sisal on the posts or the size of the individual steps on the tree are small enough for him. He would like to scrape in places where there is no sisal and he can lie basically only on one of the steps in such a way that he can scrape between the post and the wall. Anyway, for a small space, this tree is definitely better than nothing if you can handle the technical side: D (in the photo the cat had a cold, that's why the cloudy eyes and muzzle, he's been fine for a long time, no need to worry about his health)
