If 1-7 meters is enough for you to strum, then good. Before using it on the construction site, I wanted to verify the functionality at about 15 meters, because I am working on the roof. I unwound the line - it started to get very stiff at longer distances, then I sprinkled some chalk to cover the whole line and started winding. After about 3 meters, however, the winding got stuck and the entire testing was ended. I' m returning the liner and the other one I bought as a backup, also.
