Lattafa Asad Elixir is a direct and highly successful response to the Sauvage Elixir version – that is, the darkest, most intense and spiciest interpretation of this range. The Arab filmmakers from Lattafa have also added their characteristic uncompromising power to the mix. The result is an extremely masculine, deep and commanding fragrance for discerning men who want to stand out from the crowd. The fragrance opens with a powerful burst of warm spices, dominated by cardamom, cloves and black pepper. Unlike cheaper Arab clones, however, there is no unpleasant alcoholic or chemical aftertaste. Once the opening notes have settled, the fragrance softens beautifully and takes on a luxurious character thanks to creamy sandalwood, vanilla and a very subtle hint of coconut. It is an incredibly well-rounded, rich and warm composition that exudes elegance and confidence. The performance of this perfume is a story in itself. The scent is absolutely overwhelming at first; it leaves a trail all the way down the corridor and reliably fills every room. It lasts for around 8 to 10 hours on the skin without any problems, and you can still smell it on your clothes even after washing.
