My 3-year-old son kept stealing magnets from the bulletin board to try throwing them at the metal frames or doing other experiments with them. After he got this set, he's been doing experiments with just it and he's really winning. The set is amazing.
Sufficiently robust and safe processing (magnets have plastic packaging)
The pieces are large enough
Contains many different components that can be combined in different ways
The small coloured wheels are very easy to lose; -)
