The kids play around with it by the pool every day, so we end up charging it up to three times a day. The actual battery life is 15 minutes of use if you’re riding at full power. All in all, you can still ride in 3rd gear to make it worthwhile, and the battery life is then about 20–25 minutes. The claimed 60-minute battery life is for the first speed setting, at which you certainly won’t have much fun; it can’t even carry a 35kg child to the surface and travels at a speed of around 0.5–1 km/h. Anyway, so as not to be all negative, even an adult can have a right good laugh on the 4th level, even in the swimming pool. A mate of mine bought a P1 XR and it’s in a league of its own, both in terms of speed and acceleration; however, it can only maintain maximum power for about 30 minutes, after which you can quite easily swap in a second battery if you’ve bought one. In any case, don’t expect it to last 120 minutes.
