It works nicely, it produces cold steam which is great compared to my original humidifier which worked on the "kettle" principle. The air does not heat up or feel too humid. The device is unfortunately very inefficient. The water tank will actually last for 3 days, but it doesn't move much with the humidity in the room. I have a lower humidity = about 25% due to the central recuperation and this unit keeps the 25% at maximum while running at max (the noise level at this stage is no longer listenable at night. ). I tried turning on the old unit ("kettle") and the efficiency is somewhere else, after one day it raised the humidity to about 35%, this unit does not. So I'm moving it into the attic just in case of an emergency. I am particularly bothered by the dustiness that I expect to appear on the furniture over time in the form of white dust (minerals from the water and we have medium soft water). First of all, psychologically, I don't want to breathe it. I'm not going to use distillate, it wouldn't be worth the price. I will buy a device on a different humidification principle, I really can't recommend this one (dust, low efficiency)
