Don't buy! Although the camera is nice and I was happy with it, I have now discovered that after a couple of years the cable has swelled up so much that it has cracked in several places, although the cable has not been roughly handled - the camera was perched on the monitor all the time and part of the cable was tied up. In general, I find Logi to use materials of rather poor quality - I have fresh experience with their premium mouse or keyboard, for example. In a quarter of a year of use, I've polished the keys and mouse buttons, although I always have clean hands when using peripherals, I'm a dog for that. My old Microsoft Designer keyboard, even after 8 years, did not show any signs of key wear.
It will definitely serve you well if you can find a reliable USB3 connector that the camera will get along with. For a good image you also need good lighting, which when daylight is not available you need to model solidly and light artificially.
