Three stars because the button has come off – otherwise I’d have given it five
It feels comfortable in the hand; it suits me even with my relatively large hands – I used to have an MX Vertical, I bought the Lift because the left button failed on both my MX Verticals (one whilst still under warranty, the other shortly after the warranty had expired) and I was hoping that this wouldn’t happen on the ‘next-generation’ Lift – I was wrong, see the cons
I like the fact that it runs on a AA battery; it lasts an incredibly long time (compared to the MX Vertical, which has a built-in battery that’s recharged via USB)
All in all, I enjoy it; I like it; o)
After just under two years, the left button started playing up, just like on older MX Vertical models - I used to have standard Logitech mice and, even after years of daily use, I never had any problems with the microswitches – with a mouse in this price range, I’d expect not to have to buy a new one every two years
In total, 13 mice were purchased, of which 5 mice have been claimed within half a year because of the left button. Ergonomics and all the gadgets can be really great, but unusable when the mouse is on reclaim more often.
The mouse fits perfectly in my hand and compared to the classic one I immediately feel relief in my wrist. Alza got a little annoyed when they sent an obviously already unpacked package. But the mouse works fine.
