it didn't shake my hair (applied to several layers of black from the drugstore)
since the effect is not very pronounced, the brush application really works - you just dab it on and it lightens up sort of evenly within reason and the result is quite subtle and natural
I wouldn't be afraid to use it again
it really lightens only a little bit, nothing significant - it's not a downside, but it might disappoint some people, for me it was enough to go from black to brown
