I should warn you in advance that I am a long-time Linux user (12+ years). The processing of the Mac is at a very good level, adequate to the price. I was expecting some big "wow! " from the operating system, but that's not happening. appearance is weaker than what Linux can do, as well as system agility at best at the same level, rather slower. The user settings options are trivial compared to LInux. However, as a "combo" with the iPhone it's very decent and the 1-1.5day battery life, where my Zenbook lasted 4 hours is something unreal.
