For a long time I was deciding between 14 and 16 but in the end I am glad I chose 14 - it is a bit more compact than the original 15 but a bit bigger than 13.
If you are thinking whether this variant or 32GB so 16GB is sufficient and the 32GB you really use when very demanding work vyzadujici a lot of performance.

As a remote desktop terminal on Windows, it's a perfect machine (albeit the price, ouch). Despite all its faults, it is a beautiful machine in hardware, but totally impractical for a programmer's work.
Unfortunately very unstable and the wifi is a complete disaster, I wouldn't have thought anything could still not work like that today. There's a definite chance this will improve with some update over time, who knows.

the display is a tad brighter than my Dell XPS, but really not by much. 1000+ nits is a lie and marketing bullshit, the display normally works at 500 nits, i.e. pretty good, like the Dell XPS.

wifi doesn't work well if bluetooth is on (I'm not the only one who has this problem). If I have bluetooth on, it takes long minutes before a new wifi appears in range (e.g. hotspot on the phone) and the transfer speeds are trivial
wifi can't handle room to room transition and can't switch quickly to a better AP, network drops for a minute
the laptop crashes randomly and restarts itself several times a week, mostly when waking up.
the operating system is very outdated, common things like resetting the default keyboard language require a command line. The Windows 10 poweruser will roll his eyeballs at what all on Apple doesn't go easily as he is used to.
