I bought a MacBook to work on developing applications for Apple platforms and it meets all my needs in that regard. At the same time, it also serves very well for ordinary video, film or music playback thanks to the absolutely excellent display and even excessively good speakers for a laptop.
The trackpad also works great, on a Windows laptop I try not to use it unless absolutely necessary, but I don' t have a single problem here. When one learns the gestures, it is very fluid and fast.
The keyboard is easy to use and feels good to click. You just need to get used to the Control, Option and Command keys when switching from Windows. But it' s just force of habit.
I was incredibly impressed with the battery life, even during demanding operations in Xcode it lasts for a very long time. For the first time, I don' t have my laptop on the charger all the time.
The disadvantage is the absence of at least one classic USB A port, which is still widely used for various accessories. It is a good idea to buy a USB HUB.
And of course the price, it' s the latest and greatest from Apple so of course the price is disgustingly high. Their pricing policy is somewhat understandable, it is really a very capable machine, but the price for increasing the RAM memory is absurdly high.
