Performance-wise, the M4 Pro 14CPU 20GPU handles everything so far (web development, Mac, iOS, Android, virtualization, video editing, 3d graphics). 48GB memory for software development and local AI is absolutely sufficient (too bad there is no 64GB option, really big AI LLM handles in tens of streams per sec, medium and smaller LLM over 100 streams per sec). Great display, sound and camera, fans can be heard exceptionally only at maximum and longer load, very quickly chip cools down and immediately turn off, most of the time the fan speed is zero. Silver paint does not suffer from fingerprints. The 14" MBP is the ideal size, mobility and weight between the 13" AIR and the large 16" MBP.
