German keyboard layout only affects setup defaults and the physical keycaps.
The trackpad is slightly misaligned on my particular unit. The left side sits a bit lower (as it should), while the right side feels smooth with the rest of the body. This doesn't affect functionality or the haptics, but it's unclear whether this is within usual Apple tolerances.
