If the volume was not reset to maximum and/or if the maximum volume was not so high, it would be a practical and functional device. However, this is not happening, so I am considering returning the device.
probably works fine with the original amplifier
too loud sound, with non-original amplifier it plays "not too loud" only when turned down to minimum volume. This wouldn't be such a problem if it didn't always reset to maximum volume after switching off.
