A very nicely made piece. I'm not actually a big fan of Mikov and their products (especially their switchblades), but this one looked really interesting, and based on a 30% discount and good reviews, I bought it. The knife feels really high-quality at first touch, and I dare say it can compete with much more expensive and world-renowned manufacturers right off the bat. The action is perfectly smooth, with a proper and firm click both into the open position and back into the closed position. It feels good in the hand, has the option to switch the clip, a high-quality blade, and a perfectly made, long tip. That, on the other hand, is perhaps a disadvantage. You could probably make good use of the tip for some kind of cutting or for aortic surgery, but you'd have a hard time getting pâté out of its container with it (assuming anyone still eats that). However, I would consider the surface finish to be the main drawback. Although it's supposed to be the same alox technology that Victorinox uses, the surface is really prone to scratching. Pretty much straight out of the box, which by the way is truly terribly and inappropriately designed, you can see the beginnings of scuffs on the scales, from how the knife was just rattling around loose in the box. That's going to wear off quickly. On the other hand, it will also develop that patina quite fast, which some people might like. The last thing I'd mention is that sometimes it's a bit difficult to open the blade with one finger, and you either need to push harder or open the knife the classic way with your other hand (the hole in the blade is just for design, you can't get your thumb in there to open it one-handed otherwise). But it's a fairly random occurrence, perhaps when you snap the knife shut "a bit too much" or maybe it will wear in over time.

The hole in the blade is too sunken in the scabbard, so it has no meaning for one-handed opening. Not required for two-handed opening. So it probably has only aesthetic value, which also has its own weight.
The 2 possible positions for clip placement are sufficient for left/right handed changes. I have knives with four clip placement options as well, but of the two extra ones, one doesn't seem very safe to me and the other seems downright dangerous.
