When design trumps practicality
Nice design, elegant
Totally impractical! The controls on the other hand, totally unintuitive, no button to easily turn the wake-up function on and off. Plus the sound of the alarm - some weird splashing -? You want to set an alarm clock = you click like crazy, every click, it beeps, you click several times. Ugh - you set the alarm, it "splashes" in the morning - and how do you turn it off? Just move the splash. Not a word about it in the instructions. They "wake up" on the weekend. After the whole family lost our nerve with how to simply turn it off we regretted not returning it or replacing it with a regular push button one.
