The case is waterproof. My phone was fine all week at the seaside. However, the touchscreen didn't work underwater. I always had to start recording video above the water, and it didn't always focus, so a lot of the videos are poor quality. It didn't work even after squeezing the air out. I would give it -5 stars but that's not possible. I put my phone into the new case, which I only opened when I got to the sea, and went into the water with it. As soon as I tested if it was waterproof, seawater started pouring in through a hole (probably a badly sealed seam), so by the time I got back to the shore and could pour the water out – the phone was like it was in its own private aquarium. Unfortunately, it couldn't be saved. I might as well have just gone for a swim with it. I definitely do not recommend this to anyone!
