Given that there’s hardly any information to be found online about push-button mobile phones, I’d like to share a more detailed review here. I hope our lovely Alza will offer me a job as a reviewer. Unfortunately, the EU market doesn’t really offer many products like this anymore, so it’s really hard to choose. Of course, I had to go by what the senior staff member said, and then also by what I could get away with whilst explaining it. The choice was between either the ‘top-of-the-range’ Aligator model or the Mobolia. The Mobiloa is the clear winner, primarily because of its price, size and relatively modern specifications. A large screen, battery life and – wow – 4G were absolute must-haves. A new era. You’ll certainly need to set up the phone for your elderly relative yourself. A big plus is the option to lock the side buttons or customise the middle button’s functions. The middle button is very sensitive, and older people need a bit of time to get used to it – comparing it to a TV remote control was a great help. Otherwise, navigating the system is fairly simple and straightforward, almost identical to previous Mobiloa models. Don’t expect a transformer to be included in the pack – yes, times have changed. However, it comes with a stand that doubles as a charger. I was really pleased to find that putting it in and taking it out is actually very easy. The battery lasts about 2–3 days; replacing it won’t be a problem in future. From my point of view, that’s enough – so 4/5. Just a heads-up: changing your SIM with your mobile provider might be more complicated than it seems, so it’s best to give them a ring in advance. I wish you plenty of strength with our beloved greyhounds.

While it supports 4G and VoLTE, it's not an advantage in my case. Without VoLTE, call quality on 4G is poor. On a 2G network, the sound is mediocre.
Probably a worse antenna: In 4G mode, I often drop the sound in the middle of a call and have to hang up and call again, and I often get a text message that someone couldn't reach me. The phone is usable in my case only in 2G mode, when I do not have these problems. I tried to claim, they said it's a coverage issue, although this rarely happens to me with a smartphone in the same place and very often with this phone - easily several times a day.
It can only import contacts in version 2 of the vcf format, so it won't work from iphone without manual editing of contacts - iphone uses version 3 for export.
When adding events to the calendar, you will eventually run into a limited number of events on the calendar. You need to delete old events that have already passed, then only after you can add new ones. The error message in this case is quite confusing.
It can't put long incoming SMS into one, instead you get multiple SMS that you have to go through sequentially and guess the order based on context.
