The Moza R3 is an absolutely fantastic set for anyone who takes racing simulators seriously. I upgraded from a Thrustmaster T248 and the difference is incredible – it's literally a leap two classes above. Comparison with the T248 and driving feel: The T248 is a fine wheel to start with, but its hybrid drive (belt/gear) is noisy, plasticky, and feels like a toy and imprecise compared to Direct Drive. With the Moza R3's Direct Drive, the action is completely smooth, quiet, and without any grinding. Even though the R3 has a force of 3.9Nm, thanks to the instant feedback you feel every kerb, bump, and loss of grip in much more detail than on the T248. For games like Assetto Corsa, Forza Motorsport, F1 or EA Sports WRC, it's a huge step forward. Build quality and ergonomics: The build quality is incomparable – the all-metal base and wheel feel premium. The aluminium paddle shifters have a great mechanical click (no more loud plastic clicking like on the T248) and the Quick Release system allows you to remove the wheel in a second. The package also includes a very sturdy table clamp. The only weaker link compared to the T248 might be the stock pedals, which, although all-metal, have a relatively soft brake – I recommend buying the Performance Kit right away. Verdict: Upgrading from the T248 to the Moza R3 is the best upgrade I could have made. Considering the price, Xbox/PC support, and Direct Drive technology, the Moza R3 has no competition in its category!
Direct Drive for a great price: Compared to geared or belt-driven wheels (Logitech G29/G923, Thrustmaster T300), the response is incredibly smooth, quiet and precise.
Build Quality: The base and steering wheel are made from aircraft-grade aluminium – no creaking plastics, it feels like a premium product.
Official Xbox support: Plug & Play works without any problems on both the console and PC.
Moza Pit House App: A great software ecosystem on both PC and mobile. The Force Feedback settings are very intuitive.
Quick Release System: A quick-release mechanism for the steering wheel just like in a real racing car – solid and with no play.
3.9Nm force: Absolutely sufficient for a beginner and casual gaming, but more demanding sim-racers might find it limiting over time (if you want extreme force, go for the R5 or R9 instead).
Basic SR-P Lite Pedals: The pedals are all-metal and robust, but the brake pedal is very soft in its basic setup. I definitely recommend also buying the SR-P Lite Brake Pedal Performance Kit for better feel underfoot.

Kind of middle class if you're even a little bit serious about racing. Before I owned a Logitech for about 3000 CZK, it was great for a start, it was quite enough. I rode it for about two years. Then I had a trust master T 248 for a year and a half, for a price of about 6000 CZK. Including classic gear shift and clutch. I bought this one for 9000 CZK on sale. I'm excited about it. It's really an entry-level model, you can't expect a similar experience to the competition or the higher end of the brand at double or triple the price. However, at a price of around 10 000 CZK it has no competition.
According to the reviews, some brake pedal is to be expected, I'll see and buy a new spring if necessary.
