I bought the headphones because I had run out of Hive Podsie 1, which I used mainly for listening to audiobooks before going to bed. The Hive Podsie is a small headset and can be laid on its side - that is, with previous generations that had physical buttons. Unfortunately, these have touch control and at any fleeting touch, not just a finger pauses playback.
The sound is absolutely terrible, it sounds like a bucket and there is no equalizer to make up for it. Tested on different mobiles (Samsung S25, S20, Xcover 7, CAT S62) and it's the same everywhere.
The original Hive Pods were also a lot louder, the 4s are really bad.
