I bought this blender to make smoothies in the morning. Unfortunately, the performance is so pitiful that it can't even blend a sliced banana in water. I have to shake the blender just to get it to blend anything at all. The claim that it crushes ice is absolute sci-fi and I don't know where the manufacturers got that from, but it's completely untrue. I'm returning the blender because it failed to serve its purpose. An absolute disappointment.
