If you had the first generation Nutribullet, you'll be very disappointed. Even though this one is presented as being powerful, it really isn't. Compared to the old one, it's sooooo much worse. With the old one, you'd have everything blended in a second. With this new one, you have to wait for a very long time and it still doesn't even blend properly. The cups are narrower and you're left with unblended chunks at the top during mixing. I always have to turn it off, remove the cup, turn it over several times to mix it with the unblended stuff at the top, and start the blender again. I'm very disappointed with it. It's just not what it used to be, and the days of truly quality appliances are gone. :-(
The blender itself is great value for money, but I’m slightly put off by how noisy it is – something I did expect given its power, but I think that these days it’s possible to make them quieter so I don’t have to wake the whole house in the morning. My main criticism is with the lids on the containers – I wouldn’t feel confident just throwing a smoothie into my rucksack as there’s no mechanical lock or click mechanism, just a rubber seal to prevent them from opening accidentally. And another thing I’d appreciate is having physical buttons on the mixer instead of the touch controls, which sometimes behave a bit strangely.
