You need to pour something acidic into the bottom container to attract the midges. Vinegar did the trick and the problem is solved.
works, but.

The product's effectiveness is exactly 0%. That's precisely how many fruit flies, which are flying around it and landing all over the furniture and food, have been caught in 2 days. The fly trap is right in their epicentre, but they just land and fly all around it, magnificently ignoring the trap. Dozens of fruit flies have just turned it into a decoration for their home.
Utterly useless.
easy handling
completely ineffective against fruit flies
Caught 0% of insects in two days

You pour something like beer or vinegar into the bottom container, maybe add some fruit, and the flies will also land on the flypaper. A very simple and effective trap 😊
catches fruit flies quite a lot.
it has a reflective colour that attracts insects
Actually works, unlike others
works immediately
Basically just a fly trap with a reservoir for the bait.
For single use only, cannot be washed and reused.
The beer only soaks up to 70% of the height.
You need to top it up with beer or vinegar

Probably the only thing that really works on fruit flies.
it's important to pour “something” into the bottom dish, in my case, wine vinegar
You can see the result within a day or two
This sticks like crazy
it's a bit wobbly, a few people have already managed to knock it over.
It sticks like crazy - don't touch it or get anything near it ☝️
