The whisk was paired with a Philips Baristina coffee maker to make them a perfect match. That was the only reason I bought it and the price made me a little nervous. For a much lower price you can get frothers that have exactly the same functions (or more).
You have the option to whip the milk hot/cold and the foam is really nice and fluffy and rich. It does exactly what you expect it to do, except in this case you're paying for the design/combo to the Barista.
