I used adhesive tape, so the headphones continue to function. I had another generation of Phillips headphones for 5 years without any mechanical or software problems.
My other headphones have one pairing on/off button, press to turn on/off and hold to pair. I don' t understand who at Phillips thought of solving the pairing in such a clumsy way.
