I really like this flint because I have been able to start up a campfire using paper and works very well with newspapers and tissues. Holding it can be a bit painful because there isn't a handle but that doesn't really bother me. I used an old kitchen knife as the striker and works fine so far. Additionally I haven't seen any extreme flaking or damage to the flint. Defeintil a great product.
Very easy to use
Does indeed create very hot sparks
Not terribly expensive
Doesn't come with a striker
Can be hard to hold for some people
