I bought a hearing aid for my mum; she’s getting on a bit and finds it harder to hear, so she can use it for the telly and for conversations. The product is unusable – the volume doesn’t start at 0, but increases in steps that are too wide; there are no treble and bass controls; the headphones are completely unsuitable. I was looking forward to the hearing aid being of help, but it isn’t. I strongly advise against it.
