The guinea pigs struggled a bit with this, but they've got the teeth for it, so they eat the bits that are easy to chew and throw the rest (the large stalks, which is half the content) out of the hay rack and prefer to sleep on it. So next time, I'll probably get Mr Malina's instead, they always liked that one. But at least it's not mouldy, like others have written.
You get a lot of straw for the price
Let's be honest, it's just normal straw, not hay as the name suggests.

Very nice hay, but this was our first time buying it, so maybe we just got lucky. But compared to the Limara hay (1.4kg), which went straight in the bin (tiny pieces up to 7cm long), this stuff is brilliant.

Usually long pieces of hay
Inconsistent hay structure between different bales.

I buy regularly for my guinea pigs, never had any problem. Scented hay, no butchery. The guinea pigs are all over him and it looks like that's all they want. I highly recommend it

One package was perfect, the rabbit didn't want anything else, the second package was unfortunately all moldy, returned.
