I was looking for smaller speakers with good sound for casual listening without an external amplifier, nothing big or overly expensive, as I don't have a dedicated listening room anyway, nor the time to sit in the ideal position in front of the speakers and just listen. After a lot of searching, I decided on these, and the reviews were right. They are fantastic, the sound is brilliant, they look beautiful, and they don't take up half the room.
