I purchased the coffee maker on sale at a very nice price. The delivery went through ppl fine. The actual setup is a bit complicated despite the integrated barista, the paper instructions are worth the trouble. I have consumed half a kilo of coffee on it, however after watching a few videos on YT it seems to be OK already. For a reasonable result and a good coffee it is better to use a larger basket in the lever for 20 g, the 7 is wrong to set, but that's what all baristas say. You also need to buy proper coffee. And that Standard blend really isn't. Once set up, the prepared coffee is very good, compared to a Siemens or Jura machine, it makes a lot of difference. The milk foam is also very good, depending on the parameter settings and the quality of the milk. It can also make vegetable milks. After connecting to Wi-Fi, the menu was updated and the drinks menu was expanded.

In all respects, clearly superior to its generational predecessor. I owned a Sage SES881BSS. Of course, I had seen a lot of YouTube reviews before getting this one. But my own personal experience absolutely blew me away. Already the previous model was great and the expert coffee sites referred to it as a game changer among coffee machines. However, the current model has perfected the minor ailments of the previous model. The biggest shift I see is in the automatic tapper, which is no longer on the crank like before. It's not about convenience as I understand it at home. The point is that when you use a coffee and you have the grinder set to a certain coarseness and maybe you switch to different beans that behave differently at the same grinding coarseness. no more annoying puck clipping on the first grind and readjustment. The automatic tapper is regularly pouring in and measuring the puck until the final form. so no more manual cropping and a lot of wasted coffee during setup! Another major advantage is the move to a professional lever size! The previous ones were 54mm and this one is now 58mm. It may seem like a detail but 58mm is a pro cafe filter port size. The previous ones were narrower and deeper. these are wider and shallower i.e. it has a great effect on the quality and body of the coffee! other great advantages in the pros
Automatic tapper - no more mess and wasted coffee. The puck is beautifully slow and regular! No more manual puck trimming when switching to other grains! no more labored and wasted coffee!
Larger portafilter size 58mm - finally a pro café size!
Redesigned water reservoir that can be removed, but can also be refilled through the opening at the front of the machine
Larger and much higher quality display than its predecessors. Immediate response
Option to set a dark display instead of white!
Wifi - online updates - new recipes added immediately
Extended warranty for 3 years when you register on the Sage website
workspace lighting (finally added, I missed it)
Start in 3 seconds
hot water for tea in 4 seconds (faster than a kettle)
Cold brew coffees are prepared cold! not like vending machines that make coffee and you put ice in it!
It's an expensive machine - but if I made you a coffee and told you it was from a local cafe, you'd believe me!
The milk thermometer is now directly in the nozzle, so you can see the temperature even when you're doing microfoam in manual mode
The automatic double-click allows: flushing the head, preheating the cup or cleaning the grinder
Newly also preheats the entire head of the coffee machine
The knock-off bowl worth 990Kč is finally included in the package. With the previous generation, you had to buy it
The only problem is that the large portafilter is set to a volume of 22g. If you want 18g you have to manually adjust the tapper, but there is a youtube tutorial for that. I edited it in 2 minutes. Look for the video titled: How to Adjust the Dose on the Sage(Breville) Oracle Espresso Machines

Even after a week and nearly a kilo of coffee thrown away, I was unable to set up the machine satisfactorily. The built-in assistant kept recommending me to set the coarsest grind (45) and even so, a single strainer (11g coffee) yielded about 10g of beverage in 30s (double strainer, 20g coffee, 30s, coarsest grind yields about 40g of beverage). I grind the same grains on other machines to less than half coarseness and everything is fine. I may have had bad luck with the wrong piece, but I've come across people on the internet with a similar problem. I returned the device.
