Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the packaging and didn’t unpack it until later, but I noticed that the door was scratched on the side. But there’s an even bigger surprise inside! a scratch on the side panel: D and a mottled little box in the doorway. It’s no big deal, but that door’s a pain.
I was expecting a slightly quieter machine (perhaps because I’d got used to the silence of the original built-in model), but even when measured with a sound level meter, the noise level was higher (40 dB) than the stated 35 dB (unless they’d measured it from the next room). I also get the impression that it switches on quite often.
Turning the door handle wasn’t exactly easy. The door opens from the bottom; there’s no recess on the side – what a shame.
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to push it right up against the wall, so there’s a gap of about 5 cm at the side.
