there is an app on the drive that takes you to the official Seagate website and you just register the drive ( just enter your name and email ) and you have an extended warranty from the manufacturer (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
speed is ideal for the casual user
ideal only as a backup drive
time will tell, I use it as my main backup drive from memory
the size is a real 931 GB! Look out!
a bit hot when uploading and reading, it showed me a temperature of 54 C under load - measured via CPUID HWmonitor ( stored on the table by the PC )

it's not building for playing directly from disk - slow loading speed and textures don't keep up ( BUT THAT'S NOT A BUG)
It won't make a dent in the world, but there's certainly no downright flaw with it. For the price, exactly as much music as I expected from it. The transfer speed could be higher, and the fact that the capacity is only 93% of the claimed capacity bothers me a bit, but otherwise it works like a charm (I've been backing up data on it for about an hour). Seagate is a solid brand, so I don't expect to be dissatisfied. If, like me, you order through Alzabox, I recommend, as I did, to "cover" it with insurance against damage - although so far I have never received anything damaged from Alza, but a certainty is a certainty.
transfer rate + - 40 mbps (minimum 28, max I noticed 110mb/s), not bad
fine texture of the cover, matt and slightly rough, I assume that it will not get dirty
everything flies immediately without any problem (which is a bigger plus considering that I ordered through Alzabox)
simple but modern design (it may matter to some)
the supplied cable could be longer, but it's not the end of the world
the disk connector is relatively non-standard, thus not easily interchangeable with other disk accessories (may be a problem if, like me, you use external disks regularly)
the true size of the drive is 931 GB (again, in my case and for my usage, 70 GB is quite a difference), but exaggeration on the eshops is common with drives
