After a few hours of write testing and searching on the internet, I found out that the drive has, very likely, SMR technology, which when used in Linux, causes a disgusting write slowdown (to about 4 MB/s or less).
Therefore, I recommend anyone who wants to use this drive to ask what kind of data storage technology the external drive uses, because Alza does not list this parameter on the website, so you have no chance to filter out such a drive.
And when I contacted the contact line they really "helped" me - I was told I should have asked about it up front.
it behaves strangely, when copying data to it, it slows down writing until it freezes completely - tried several times, never managed to copy everything I wanted
