The disc is a good one, unfortunately it still has the cartridge that my previous disc of the same brand went on. It's the taper at the beginning of the power connector. The connector is literally pinched and only a very thin cable connects it. After a few years, it won't last and the drive's electronics will be wiped out. But the seemingly standard connector is different and unavailable, so you can't replace it. The whole adapter at first overpriced, then nesehnatelny, and so you still have to buy the disk, even if it survived. I recommend fixing the connector into something solid as soon as possible so that it cannot bend.
I bought it as an extra backup to the NAS with the understanding that it would connect once a quarter. After two and a half years on the shelf with a total of about 130 accesses and 250h active, it has 100 cool sectors and is basically a write-off. Out of warranty, of course: )
