Bought for my mom for a nursing home, plugged in and tested today. It's a good thing the manual controls work (albeit with difficulty). Mum liked the family photos very much, but Dad couldn't see very well next door - inu TFT: -(. I'll see how the next arrangement with Alsa goes - whether the remote can just be replaced. Peter B.
