I have been looking for a long time for a glass kettle that doesn't have plastic in the lid and strainer, and at the same time doesn't have a lighted perimeter on the bottom. Unfortunately, you can't read much information about the backlight anywhere, much less filter it. Severin also has a backlit kettle like this, so I relied on the picture and luckily it really was.
The other info is more for perfectionists, so I didn't put it in the negatives; -)
There is a higher edge at the glass and stainless steel connection and then at the lid, so that water cannot be completely poured out through the top hole, so that none remains in the kettle. But it can be poured out quite well with a spout when the filter is removed.
The handle of the kettle cannot be folded down. Maybe a disadvantage for some, but I had no problem with pouring water. Just tilt the kettle a bit or pour water with a spout, which is possible because it is wide enough. At least I don't worry that somehow the handle will unexpectedly fold down and scald me when pouring hot water.
The last thing, which is more of a design thing, is the power cord. It's pretty much stiff and black. Such a designer kettle would deserve a nicer cable and maybe a braided one. It could be better adapted on the line and would not spoil the impression.

Yes a really nice beep because there really isn't any: -)) There is probably a mistake in the product description. Maybe a minus for some, but a big plus for me. Even boiling water is relatively quiet, which compares to other kettles I know.
A mega big plus is that when boiling water it doesn't glow like a carnival with all the colors, only the blue light by the switch is on. It's a pity that it's just blue, because in the evening the blue light should be reduced, and here the kettle spoils it a bit.
The spout is well shaped, wide and a large stream of water disperses the strainer, so it can be poured even with a weaker steady stream for dripper coffee
Instructions in English are missing. I translated from English, but I still think it should be there for older people.
