The nozzle is essentially unusable due to the flow restrictor. Normal showering is not working. The ‘rain’ setting is so weak that it takes five times longer to rinse off the soap than with a standard shower head. The ‘jet’ setting does provide a bit more water, but in a narrower stream, so the showering time is the same as with the ‘rain’ setting. That just leaves the massage jet, which can’t be used for a normal shower. Returning the goods was no problem at all, so thumbs up to Alza for that. You can’t tell how the head will work without trying it out.

After installation, we had to buy a different shower head. Unnecessary purchase. If you have really high water pressure at home, then perhaps, but it’s not suitable for normal water pressure. We chose the head because it had similar specifications to the original one. The price isn’t high, but the value for money certainly isn’t up to scratch.
