We’re absolutely delighted and have seen great progress over the years since we had to replace the existing, no longer working and very noisy portable air-conditioner at home.
Very quiet operation even at maximum power
It can easily cool a 40-square-metre room from 32 degrees to 23 degrees within an hour
It’s easy to carry, so you can use it upstairs; it’s easy to carry up the stairs, even if you’re not exactly a ‘strong man’.
A ‘sleep’ mode that allows you to drift off to sleep comfortably
Tested on 26 June so far. -28 June 2026: in Mladá Boleslav, the temperature during the day was around 39°C. To give you an idea, a 40m² flat (one room) facing west with a glass wall, the air conditioning set to 24°C, at maximum power, with opaque curtains drawn, and the temperature inside the flat measured at 23–24°C all day. In terms of noise, I’d compare it to a robot vacuum cleaner; my bed is 8 metres away from the air-con (from the air-con to my head) and I fall asleep quite comfortably despite it: ) I switched it on at around 11.00 that morning; the temperature in the flat was about 27–28°C, and within half an hour it had stabilised at 24°C. No crickets so far. Recommended for the whole family: D
cooling performance (detailed in the review below)
Noise vs. distance from the head: Up to 3 metres it’s noisy; up to 6 metres it’s starting to be bearable; at 8–9 metres I can fall asleep without any trouble: D
What a shame – it can’t be used because of a fault with the fan. Otherwise, it would actually be quite nice – you just need a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. I’ll try to make a complaint and see what happens. I’ve had the air con for 3 days…
It’s loud, but that was to be expected; it’s not such a big problem
The fan that draws out the warm air is out of alignment and is rubbing against the wall next to it, which creates an extremely unpleasant noise and is damaging the air-conditioning unit from the inside.
It’s really noisy – you certainly won’t be able to sleep next to it: D. However, that is the price you pay for a simple all-in-one solution. Every one of them will be noisy
When I bought it, I was a bit worried, based on the reviews. But I’m extremely satisfied. It will cool the attic bedroom at the cottage from 33 degrees to 26 in just under 2 hours. Measured at the opposite end of the room, which is approximately 20m². I’ll move it to another one in a moment. Noise is normal for these ‘all-in-one’ devices. It’s still better than listening to other people’s air-conditioning units on the rooftops – you can always switch this off. The flue pipe extends all the way up to the skylight. The Tuya controls work; I haven’t had time to try LocalTuya in Home Assistant, but I’m not worried. It draws 6.5A, i.e. approx. 1400W. At last, we’ll be able to sleep in the loft at the cottage too.
I’m going to return it; I bought it today with a great deal of scepticism about these devices. Unfortunately, my suspicions have been confirmed, and the reviews here have also been confirmed. Considering it’s rated at 14,000 BTU/h, it’s simply not powerful enough. The outlet has been fitted in the window in accordance with the manual, and positioned 50 cm from the walls as specified in the manual. After 3.5 hours, when it is set to 16°C (! ) the 20m2 living room only cooled down from 29°C to 25.5°C, which is completely unacceptable. I used to have another portable air conditioner with a capacity of 9000BTU/h, and it cooled better; unfortunately, however, it was even noisier than this one, which is why I returned it. The noise here is just about tolerable during the day, but it’s definitely impossible to sleep with it going on.
Quite nice
Intuitive control
At 14,000 BTU/h, it doesn’t cool sufficiently.
Noise at the limit of what is bearable
Quiet mode simply reduces the fan speed.
Night mode simply dims the LEDs.
Assembly is complicated and labour-intensive.
Ideal for someone who already has an air outlet through the wall to the outside.
It works as it should, but it is really noisy even at the lowest intensity. 65db at idle: D. Night mode has only a dimmed backlight otherwise the blowing intensity does not change. But if you use soundproof headphones and cool your room before you go to sleep I would recommend it. Obvzášt for 3500, - CZK
Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
Unfortunately, we were returning the product. We don't have a comparison with another product from another brand, but the noise level is really big in the room.
High noise level
The night mode consists only of turning off the indicator light
