I accidentally bought this model without the inner bucket. I'm therefore returning the bin, but after trying it out, I probably won't order the L301 version with the inner bucket either. I like the design of the bin, but a major drawback is the lack of a practical manual. It mostly contains safety warnings but describes almost nothing about the controls, how to change the bag, or how to use the fixing hole. From the photo, you can only guess that you're supposed to tuck the excess part of the bag into it. What bothers me most are the lid controls. If the sensor detects a hand for approximately three seconds, the bin automatically switches to a mode where it stays permanently open. However, it's not intuitive how to close it afterwards. You have to hold your hand in front of the sensor again for about three seconds, wait for the green light to flash, and only then does the lid close. During normal handling, this permanent open mode can be activated unintentionally, and turning it off is unnecessarily annoying. A separate button for keeping it permanently open and closed would be much more practical. The automatic closing could then simply wait until the sensor no longer detects a hand. So, the bin looks nice and well-made, but the inadequate manual and, above all, the forced control logic, in my opinion, significantly reduce the comfort of use. I expect an automatic bin to make things easier, not for me to have to adapt to its behaviour.

The inner container is practical, but compared to other models of the same basket (without container) it reduces the usable volume quite significantly (a basket of the same volume without container has much smaller dimensions).
The sensor works quite well, but not quite practical is the function of locking in the open state when holding your hands near the sensor for more than 3 seconds. It happens that a person, for example, empties crumbs from a plate into the bin and the lid locks and won't close. As a result, it puts some pressure on the user to hurry up and get it done.
The claimed 1200 openings sounds awfully luxurious, but it's only when using the battery-powered basket that you start to realise how many times a day you actually open the basket. Suddenly, after recalculation, it's a month or two of endurance. And that's getting expensive. Then you start to feel that you should limit yourself and put small things aside and throw them away all at once. We eventually returned the basket and kept the mechanical one.
