I didn't understand from the description that it doesn't work without a subscription, so I'm returning it.

I definitely do not recommend this tracker! From the time I bought it on 10/05/2026 until 01/10/2026, the tracker has frozen 3 times. The solution to the problem is to either take the tracker to the nearest border with a neighbouring country so it can pick up another operator's signal, or you can send the tracker in for a warranty claim and be without it for a month. The app is quite well-made, clear, and in Czech. The route recording feature is interesting, as you can replay it later, but that's pretty much where the positives end. Definitely don't rely on it if you want to protect something like a motorcycle (my case), car, bike, etc. I managed to misplace the tracker somewhere in Olomouc; it can't be found through the app, and the app reports it's somewhere near Krnov, where I last was in June, even though it was still working in Olomouc in July. Then it froze and that was that.
I've thrown away 1,300,- for the tracker and 2,000,- for a 2-year premium subscription, and now I have nothing, which is a paradox considering the manufacturer boasts about all the things you can keep an eye on with it. I can probably forget about any refund, so if anyone wants to throw away 3 grand and take a look at the state border a few times a year, go for it.

So far, it's working fine, so we'll see how it goes in the future.
