I don't use it for yoga, but for aerobics, on a floating floor. I was looking for something that I could practice barefoot and that would absorb the impact. The mat is great, it shifts slightly when you exercise standing up, but I attribute that to the aerobics. Otherwise the feet do not slip, the cork surface is pleasant, beautiful mandala in the middle.
