Overall, I definitely recommend the dryer, but I take one star off for a design imperfection that I really shake my head at. It is necessary to have realistic expectations, and to approach the device with them. This is a hobby dryer, for hobby printers. It is one of the few in this range to offer a drying temperature of 70°, which is excellent. It also has a heating element in the lid so it dries the coil all around, again great. I'm not going to comment on whether or not it could have an air vent etc. I'm mainly a practitioner, I put material like ASA-CF or PA-CF in the dryer to dry and I print with no problem. As a hobbie, that's all I can ask for from a dryer. And now a final criticism. The holes in the lid for the filament outlet are towards the centre of the spool. In practice, this means that the filament crosses and scrapes against the edge of the hole when printing. That no one at Sunlu has been able to realize this or point it out, I really don't understand. Fortunately, there's nothing easier than printing small adapters for a few pennies. There are several models available on the internet, so obviously I don't address this flaw first.

The fan can be finished, but it is at the cost of losing the warranty and if it should be controlled based on humidity and temperature, it is necessary to add another sensor with a microcontroller.

This dryer does what it's supposed to do and for the price it's great. It heats all the way around, so the filament heats evenly. Preset profiles for most materials are also nice. The biggest minus is that it has no active ventilation. The humid air has no proper place to go so it is necessary to open it for a few seconds and let the warm humid air out. You can see it a lot in the humidity indicator when it doesn't drop much on its own, but when you open it up it drops down a few percent.
