After a few months of normal use, all the wooden parts of the seat gradually fell off. They are only attached with two thin nails on each side, which gradually work loose and pull out of the wood when you swing. On top of that, the wood started to turn black quite quickly. For a swing with a stated load capacity of 50kg, I would expect a significantly more robust design and better material durability. In the end, I had to drill through all the joints and additionally secure them with bolts and nuts.
It looked nice when it was new
- Parts of the seat keep falling out
- The wood degrades quickly
