It is possible to move the control thermostat wherever you like and also to control the boiler by radio signal. I didn't have a thermostat in the reference room connected by cable and now I can control the boiler via my phone.
The thermostat itself works well, installation easy, Android app clear, stable, fast. However, a significant problem that is glossed over in the available documentation is that you can only connect one thermostat to one account! So it is not possible to have e.g. one thermostat at home and one at the cottage. According to Tado support, they have no plans to change this restriction. The only option is to create multiple accounts under different emails and access the application via the web interface.
