It did the job; I used it to cut the chain and fitted a quick-release link so I wouldn’t have to rivet it again. When I received it, I noticed that the screw was very stiff to turn. It was necessary to loosen the thread a little by turning the screw back and forth. After that, it went more smoothly; I applied some Vaseline and it runs without much resistance. Given the shoddy workmanship and poor-quality alloy, it’s only worth 3 stars, but it’ll do the job for basic maintenance in a pinch. Don’t expect miracles from tools that cost next to nothing. You really need to get it moving and give it a good rub.
