I tried ironing extremes like heavy-duty competition kimonos and a very thin blouse. The kimonos were ironed on the max setting and it was completely problem-free, it glides smoothly and has enough steam even for such a thick material. For the blouse, I turned the dial down by just one setting, the steam is immediately cooler and there's still plenty of it, so that was also ironed brilliantly.
