This is a pretty solid knife.
More suitable for coarser cutting in the kitchen, such as cutting meat with bones and gristle, cutting dried fruit or vegetables, chopping nuts, etc. Thanks to the strength and stiffness of the blade, you can crush a clove of garlic without any problem and then cut it into pieces.
It can also slice onions, carrots and other vegetables, but you can't expect to slice tomatoes as thinly with a hollow blade or to slice onions as well as with a Santoku knife. For its still affordable price, I consider it a solid product that can handle a lot of work before it ends up in the scrap heap.
The knife is quite strong and made of quite good steel, either 3Cr13MoV or 5Cr15MoV .
The sharpness of the knife from the factory is very good, there is no need to sharpen the first time.
Possibility to maintain the blade for some time with a whetstone, without grinding on the stones.
The knife has a hollow ground edge, after some time of use it must be resharpened by an experienced knife maker.
Although the knife has good cutting power from the factory, it will soon lose it due to the sharp blade angle of about 2x 12 degrees on both sides.
Although the blade is very well recessed in the handle and is still riveted, there may be some weakness in the handle material, which seems a bit flimsy to me. So if the knife accidentally falls on the tiles, the handle can break or be damaged.
