Right off the bat - this is a no-name Chinese weather station that Tesla just had its logo slapped on. You can get a completely identical one on Aliexpress and co. On functionality - HW is more or less OK, but software is a disaster. Not only are the automation functions not even translated into English, some are even only in Chinese. The weather station can't display values from external sensors, it only shows the outside temperature as an approximation based on the location (supposedly it pulls it from Google), the sensor values are only visible in the app. Interestingly, however, I saw a photo of an identical weather station on the internet, which could display the sensor values, albeit a bit crudely. I wrote directly to Tesla with this to see if there was any firmware update - they said there isn't and won't be. As typical of such devices - the manufacturer's issue-and-forget approach. Next, the station suffers from unstable network connection, lately it inexplicably disconnects from WiFi (and it's not the network, I have several other Tuya devices in the same subnet and they all work flawlessly). There is no reason to use the Tesla app, the weather station is a Tuya and works with the Tuya/SmartHome app. It's sad how far Tesla has fallen that they took Chinese junk, slapped a logo on it and didn't even bother with any testing or localization.

This has gone very wrong. Internal unit requires USB cable connection, no battery option. But most importantly, the indoor unit does not take its temperature and humidity from the outdoor unit, but from the internet. It's an ill-conceived piece of crap that is also inadequately expensive.
I don't recommend it.

the manufacturer could be more fair in this and write ideally in the second sentence of the description that the temperature outside is not displayed on the product display and not only in the note in the instructions when pairing. The outdoor sensor will only show the temperature in the mobile app (if someone really wanted this, they would buy a sensor that doesn't need a base). With this attitude, let the manufacturer go somewhere - the product is useless.
