A really great peripheral for playing Farming Simulator – for controlling loaders, forestry machinery, etc. It’s suddenly much more comfortable than using a mouse.
I use this joystick in conjunction with the Logitech G923 steering wheel and the Saitek Farm Sim Vehicle panel, which has its own smaller joystick, so I can easily control even more complex machines.
Compared to the Saitek controller, the FarmStick is definitely more robust and more comfortable to use.
Unfortunately, the FarmStick has one major issue that it shares with some other Thrustmaster joysticks, and that is Z-axis drift (the joystick’s rotation around the axis) – in my case, after about six months, the Z-axis sensor started to skip, causing unintended actions in the game. So the joystick is currently being repaired under warranty. According to online sources, I’m certainly not alone, and this is a common fault with Thrustmaster controllers.
It’s a shame, and a disgrace on the manufacturer’s part, that they didn’t make some design changes to eliminate this obvious quality issue. Otherwise, it’s actually a really great peripheral for virtual farming (I’d say ‘the best’, but I haven’t tried the Hori Farming Vehicle Control System, so I can’t compare it with all the alternatives).
There is also a newer version that can be connected not only to a PC but also to consoles, and it has an extra control – but as a PC gamer, it doesn’t make sense to me to pay an extra 30% or so just for that.

A must have for fans of farming simulator. The game takes on a whole new dimension and I definitely recommend it. The joystick is plug and play, so there's no need to map or set anything up.
Unfortunately my joystick is having issues after 2 months of use. Z Axis sensor issues probably as the controls are moving by itself. Sending it back to Thrrustmaster, I hope they give me a new one
